Jr. Kings repeat as State Champions! |

The Jr. Kings travelled to Escondido the weekend of March 5-7, 2010 for the CAHA State Championship. For the second year in a row, they won the State Championship. The Jr. Kings started the weekend off by beating LAHC 5-2. Later in the day, they beat OCHC 4-1. This set-up a matchup on Saturday with the SC Titans to determine the top-seed in the Championship final on Sunday. The Jr. Kings dominated the Titans to win 6-1. In the Championship game on Sunday, the Jr. Kings took an early lead 1-0. Not long after, on a delayed penalty to the Jr. Kings, the Titans tied it 1-1. Later in the game, the Jr. Kings answered with three goals to win 4-1. Good job Jr. Kings! Now, its off to San Jose for Regionals. The journey continues.

Jr. Kings close-out Tier 1 Elite League, Feb. 4-6 |

The Jr. Kings travelled to Denver, Co for the final Tier 1 Elite Showcase of the 2009-2010 season. In their first game on Thursday, the Jr. Kings faced off against a very good team, Detroit's Belle Tire. The Jr. Kings came away with a 4-1 victory. However, in the second game of the day, Honeybaked beat the Jr. Kings 3-2. On Friday, the Jr. Kings tied Compuware, 3-3 and then handled Victory Honda, 5-1. On Saturday, the Jr. Kings beat Little Ceasars, 5-3 and then concluded the road trip with a 5-1 win against the Colorado Rampage. The Jr. Kings will now start preparing for State Playoffs in March. |

Jr Kings dominate in Dallas, Jan. 29-31 |

The Jr. Kings came into the Dallas Stars Showcase playing some pretty good hockey. When the weekend was over, there was no doubt. The Jr. Kings began the weekend with the always powerful St. Louis Jr. Blues. The Jr. Kings hung tough and won the opener, 6-5. The Ohio Blue Jackets were the Jr. Kings opponent in the night game and left with a loss, 4-1. On Saturday, the Jr. Kings played the host Dallas Stars and won 5-3. In the night game, the Jr. Kings tied Russell Stovers, 2-2. On Sunday, the Jr. Kings disposed of the Cleveland Barons, 4-1. So, the Jr. Kings went 4-0-1 on the weekend as they continue to build momentum for the State playoffs in March. |

This past Sunday, the Jr. Kings faced off against the San Jose Jr Sharks at the Toyota Sports Center in a CAHA game. The Jr Kings won the match-up, 7-1. The Jr Kings dominated the entire game. The Jr Kings will travel to Dallas this weekend (Jan.28-31) for Tier 1 Elite Showcase. |

The Jr Kings were in Chicago last weekend (Jan.16-18) for the Tier 1 Elite Showcase. The Jr Kings were looking to continue their seven game win streak. They won all five games at the Tier 1 Showcase in Phoenix and two local CAHA games (Cal Stars and OCHC). The Jr Kings did not start well on Saturday in Chicago as they fell 4-1 to Team Illinois. In the nightcap, the Jr Kings came back and defeated CYA (Chicago Young Americans)3-1. On Sunday, the Jr Kings faced off against the Chicago Mission, which is always a tough matchup, and won 2-1. In the second game of the day, the Jr Kings played the host Chicago Fury. After getting behind 3-0, the Jr Kings battled back to make it 3-2. But, that is where it ended. On Monday, the Jr Kings beat the Madison Capitals, 3-2, to finish with three wins and two losses for the weekend. |
